TNF or Tumor Necrosis Factor is a communication molecule that our immune system uses when it attacks an infection.
When the immune system attacks an infection that will cause inflammation and pain in the joints and it is popular for doctors to use TNF blockers like Enbral or Humira that shut down the immune system in order to treat that pain.
The problem with that approach is that a person will be stuck with those infections for life.
